Dr. Christopher Henderson is the director of Optimal Health Center in Napa, California. He is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor and a licensed Acupuncturist. Dr. Henderson completed a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine, as well as a Masters of Science in Acupuncture and a certificate in Chinese Herbal Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington.

His undergraduate studies led to a BA in Psychobiology from the University of California at Santa Cruz, followed by several years as a researcher in the field of neural and behavioral pharmacology with Syntex Corporation.
Doctor Henderson has consulted for international natural products companies as well as spas and spa training programs. He regularly lectures on natural health and spa therapeutics and has been interviewed and featured in various radio and print media.

Doctor Henderson is a member of the California Naturopathic Doctors Association, American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, National Acupuncture Detoxification Association, International Society of Medical Hydrology and Resort Medicine, and American Apitherapy Society.
